It is produced by hot rolling on mills with rotating rolls from structural carbon steel of ordinary quality St3 and structural low-alloy steel St09G2S in accordance with GOST 8239-89. It is used as a base in the production of centrally compressed columns for the construction of high-rise buildings due to the uniform distribution of the load throughout the structure. It is also used to strengthen mine shafts and other underground infrastructure, as well as guides for bridge structures and overpasses.
