Heat power engineering is a branch of heat engineering that specializes in converting heat energy into its other forms. The basis of this industry is thermal power plants, which use the chemical energy of fuel to convert. Power plants are divided, depending on the types of installations used, into the following types:
- Cycle steam;
- Gas Turbine;
- Steam turbines.
At present, all over the world, thermal power engineering occupies a leading position among other traditional types. In particular, 46% of all electricity generation worldwide is carried out using coal, in second place is the use of gas - 18%, followed by the use of biomass - 3.0%, oil - 0.2%. In general, TPPs provide almost 70% of the total electricity generation of all power plants.
In Ukraine, according to data provided by Ukrenergo, the total capacity of all power plants is 56170 MW, TPPs account for 60.9% (34180 MW).
As predicted by VGB Power Tech. E.V. Until 2030, there will be a stable growth in electricity production, in the EU countries by an average of 1.3% annually, and for other countries - this figure will be almost twice as high - 2.5%. The need of the EU countries for electricity by 2020 will increase to 4.4 TW.
This includes condensing power plants (TPPs), in the Russian classification - state district power plants and combined heat and power plants. In total, 15 thermal power plants and 21 thermal power plants operate on the territory of Ukraine.
Today, you can purchase the entire range of pipe metal for enterprises in the heat and power industry in Ukraine by contacting the company "UTMK ". We are leaders in the supply of pipes and cooperate with leading domestic and foreign manufacturers of ferrous metal. Thanks to this, we offer our customers the most favorable conditions for cooperation.
Rolled pipes are widely used in thermal power engineering. The most demanded in this industry are steel pipes (welded and seamless), as well as with a special coating. For the organization of heat supply networks, welded pipes from various steel grades are also widely used, which correspond to GOST 3262-75. Their main advantages are:
- Available cost;
- Large selection of standard sizes;
- Traditional application;
- The mastery of the technological process.
The selection of steel pipes for laying heating networks is carried out in accordance with the norms of the relevant SNiP 2.04.07 – 86 "Heat networks". The choice of steel grade is carried out taking into account the nature of the loads, their magnitude and other characteristics. In particular - tensile strength, yield strength, and so on.
For above-ground heat pipelines, pipes are most often used, which have higher strength characteristics. Thanks to this, the distance between the supports can be significantly increased. And this, in turn, reduces the cost of the entire structure or structure. The best choice is gas or water pipes with an outer diameter between 10.2 - 165.0 mm, with a wall thickness of 1.8 - 5.5 mm. Their use is allowed at a maximum coolant temperature of 150C and a pressure of t1.6 MPa.
When constructing above-ground and channel heat pipelines with a diameter of 400 - 700 mm, t (max) of the coolant does not exceed 150C, and the pressure is 1.6 MPa, according to GOST 19283-73, welded pipes with a spiral seam are used.
Boiler pipes
Where the use of welded pipes is not permitted by the requirements of Gosgortekhnadzor, steel seamless pipes . Basically it is boiler pipes:
- Seamless steel pipe for pipelines and steam boilers. Are issued according to TU 14-3Р-55-2001. For this, the following brands are used - 20P8, 15GS, 15XN. 12X1MF and some others. Diameter (outer) - 10.0 - 63.0 mm, wall thickness - 2.0 - 6.0 mm and 42.0 - 245.0 mm, with wall thickness - 4.0 - 40.0 mm. li>
- Boiler pipes with a diameter of 10.0 - 60.0 mm, and walls of 3.0 - 6.0 mm. TU 14-3-796-79. For their production, corrosion-resistant steel 12X18H12T is used.
- Seamless steel pipes with a diameter of 5.0 - 76.0 mm. with a wall thickness of 0.8 - 10.0 mm, as well as 28.0 - 426.0 mm and a wall of 2.8 - 30.0 mm. For their production, st10.0 and st20.0 are used, according to TU 14-3-190-2004.
- Seamless steel pipes for work under pressure. DIN 17175, DIN EN 10216-2. Diameter - 21.3 - 76.1 mm, walls - 2.9 - 6.3 mm, as well as
