Steel circle 280 38HS is a metal billet in the form of a bar with a circular cross-section and a diameter of 280 mm. The standard cut is 2-6 m long. A running meter weighs 483.1 kg, with 2.1 m of product in one ton. The rolled products are manufactured in accordance with DSTU 7806-2015; DSTU 4738:2007 (GOST 2590-2006) from 38HS structural alloy steel. It welds well when the billet is preheated. Such rounds are often used to manufacture small, improved parts with high wear resistance requirements: gears, shafts, pins, couplings, tractor engine intake valves, and solid-rolled rings for various applications.
