Round steel forging 170 steel 40X(40Cr) – solid, round in section rod made of structural alloy steel grade 40X(40Cr). It is manufactured by forging and stamping or by forging. Manufacturing standard – GOST 4543-71 8478-70 7062-90 (EN10083). It is released in lengths of 2-6 m. The weight of one meter of the product is 178 kg, the length of a ton is 5.6 m. The diameter of the cross section is 170 mm. It is widely used in mechanical engineering for the manufacture of various parts - axles, shafts, connecting rods, gears, excavator shafts, couplings, gear shafts, spindles, bolts, levers, rods, cylinders and other critical loaded parts.
