R-50 railroad rails

Rail R-50 is a rail beam, a type of structural shaped steel. It is hot-rolled on section mills from high-carbon, low-alloy steel grades 76T, 76C and 76F. Production complies with GOST 51685-2000. The height of the product is 152 mm, the width of the roadway is 72 mm, and the width of the base is 132 mm. The standard length is 12.5 m. The weight of one running meter is 51.7 kg, and one ton contains about 19.3 m of rolled metal. Rail R-50 is used in the construction of broad-gauge railways on mainline sections, when laying crane tracks, on access roads to industrial zones, in the manufacture of railway scales, to create rolling tracks for power transformers and to equip turnouts.
